People watching Republican National Convention in Cleveland were divided on whether to cringe or rock out to the song, "Make America Great Again," which played just before GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump's speech on Thursday.
Featuring lyrics like "We are one nation under God" "We’re gonna build it up stronger" and "We’re gonna win, We’re gonna make America great," "Gonna take this country back to where it was in better days", the ultra-patriotic and nostalgic song — named after Trump's slogan — got immediate love-hate reactions on social media.

According to his bio, however, singer Dave Fenley and his family actually moved to Canada, and that's where he found diverse influences like Boyz II Men that enriched his musical style.
"In high school, his family moved to Canada, so Dave had a whole different set of influences. No longer surrounded by only country music, Dave found that he loved anything with soul. Starting with Boyz II Men, Dave back tracked to artists like Otis Redding, Ray Charles, and Percy Sledge. That's when Dave really started using his voice."
Fenley eventually moved back to pursue a career in music, and is now based in Nashville. So far, there's no indication he's ever penned any songs about Canada or PM Justin Trudeau.
