Donald Trump is famous for using the phrase “many people are saying”. This phrase usually begins a sentence he uses to make up something to attack his perceived enemies.
But a careful analysis of his tweets and speeches lead to only one conclusion. The many people he is referring to are just the many voices in his head.
Twitter got on the bandwagon to troll Trump on this, and fun ensued.
The trolling campaign was inspired by Trump using the phrase to blame Hillary Clinton for the death of an Iranian scientist. A totally outrageous claim of course. But has that ever stopped him before? Of course not.
Here are a few of the many tens of thousands of hilarious and smart #manypeoplearesaying Tweets.
