We'll chat about satirical political art and the place of cartooning in the media today. What are the challenges of creating such work in the current political climate? How did the Lincoln Project ever find him? What motivates his drawings?

Hailing from Atlantic Canada, de Adder won the 2020 Herblock Prize for editorial cartooning. His work has appeared in newspapers around the world, and in recent years, several of his political cartoons have gained viral attention, including drawings related to the confirmation hearing of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and the Trump administration’s immigration policy.
