Back National Observer's next year of reporting with a donation now

The planet just keeps warming. Help us go further than we've ever gone before.

Help us reach our goal of raising $150,000 by May 31.

Goal: $150k
$132,744

Over the last month, subscribers like you have donated more than $100,000 to accelerate our climate reporting.  Thank you so much. I’m blown away by all of you, your generosity, your caring for the planet, and your belief in the power of journalism.

Since I founded Canada’s National Observer, the planet has gotten hotter and climate reporting has become more central to the survival of all living beings.

But, as I learned at COP26 last fall, there is no international legal mechanism to hold countries accountable to keeping promises, meeting their stated climate goals. Strong, relentless journalism by National Observer helps hold Canada accountable.

So, please, if you haven’t donated yet and you feel you can, help me accelerate National Observer’s award-winning reporting, podcasting and visual storytelling. Help National Observer cross the finish line and meet the goal of raising another $21,000 by May 31.

Thank you ahead of time.
