Justin Fisher is an organizer and researcher with Climate Justice Saskatoon and a co-author of Bridging the Gap: Building bridges between urban environmentalists and coal-producing communities in Saskatchewan. He is a PhD student in environmental history at the University of Saskatchewan.
The Future of Coal in Saskatchewan is a research project exploring the social and technical aspects of a coal phaseout in Saskatchewan. The project's first report, Bridging the Gap: Building bridges between urban environmentalists and coal producing communities in Saskatchewan, was published in November 2018. The Future of Coal is supported by the Pembina Institute and is funded in part by the Corporate Mapping Project (corporatemapping.ca).
