About Diana Coulter

Diana Coulter's journalism career began about 30 years ago at The Canadian Press in Toronto, before she went to The Toronto Star, then headed west to The Edmonton Journal as a reporter for more than a decade, covering social services, the courts, Alberta Legislature, and a features stint. When her family moved back to Ontario, Diana covered Canadian issues for The Christian Science Monitor before heading for almost a decade to New Delhi, India, and continuing to write there. She also covered news and features for The Globe and Mail from India. Later, she wrote about development projects for UNICEF and The World Bank in India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Back in Canada, she worked in communications for The Canadian Red Cross, before returning to her first love - journalism. Diana has degrees from Queen's University, Ryerson (now Toronto Metropolitan), and a Master's in journalism & mass communications from Kent State University.
