Dr. K. Sonu Gaind is a professor of psychiatry at the University of Toronto and a former president of the Canadian Psychiatric Association. He sat on the Council of Canadian Academies’ Expert Panel on Assisted Dying and Mental Illness, and is physician chair of the Humber River Hospital MAiD Team.
