Some of the people who died in the stabbing massacre on James Smith Cree Nation last month were killed because they were trying to help others, RCMP say.
A member of James Smith Cree Nation was wrongfully accused by RCMP of killing an individual during the stabbing attacks last month in the community and in the nearby village of Weldon, Sask.
Since the tragic stabbings in Saskatchewan and the subsequent deaths of those accused, Damien and Myles Sanderson, many have looked for something or someone to blame.
A suspect in a deadly series of stabbings in Saskatchewan was chased down by police on a rural highway, but he went into medical distress soon after his arrest and died, RCMP said on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.
