Julie-Christine Denoncourt has a bachelor's degree in international relations from the University of Montreal and a master's in applied political studies (with a specialization in Environment) from the University of Sherbrooke. She attended COP26 as part of the Climate Generation Montreal project with a delegation of five young Quebecers.

She is currently working for a Quebec environmental organization and is interested in issues of mobility and transport, reduction at the source, gender and climate justice.
