NDP leader Jagmeet Singh handily won over party delegates gathered in Ottawa on the weekend, more than 90 per cent of whom voted against holding a new leadership race Saturday night.

Singh won the party leadership race in October.

Some party delegates staged a protest around the motion regarding the Palestinian question, claiming that it is watered down and that the party has been throwing up roadblocks to avoid discussing the question further, leading to a tense debate and vote on the motion at the end of the day.
