A brief message on Remembrance Day

Democracy is delicate.

And today I remember that we are so very lucky to live in peace in Canada.

In the wake of President-elect Donald J. Trump's victory, National Observer has received several racist messages including vile and disgusting notes that appeared to come from white supremacists in Canada.

On Remembrance Day, let's remember how fragile human societies really are. And remember the words of our anthem: We stand on guard.
