About Paul Hamel

Paul Hamel is a Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathobiology in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. His lab focuses on molecular and cellular biology and he teaches in the area of global health and its intersection with the consequences of climate change. He has also studied and written in the area of the nature of the university and the influence of philanthropy on the orientation of the university.
