Supporters of an Indigenous camp blocking access to a planned pipeline in northern British Columbia say they are anticipating RCMP action over an injunction filed against them.

TransCanada served an injunction on Nov. 26, 2018, against two leaders of the Unist'ot'en camp, accusing the members of the Wet'suwet'en First Nation of blocking access in the area around the Morice River Bridge. Hereditary leaders of the Wet'suwet'en First Nation stand unified against pipelines in the territories they are obliged to protect through their traditional system of governance.

"See it from his point of view and quit wasting your energy yelling and being easily offended," writes Wet'suwet'en First Nation member Dolores Bazil. "Instead, organize and work towards climate change, land claims and maintaining a pristine coast where our food supply is restored."

"I never knew her, but to me, in my eyes, she gave me life," Vicki Hill told the national inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women on Tuesday, "Now I have to live without her."

Transport Canada has been secretive and evasive about closed-door meetings where Indigenous partners in the Northern Gateway pipeline asked for 'accommodation' if the project fell through.

Revelations that Delgamuukw is among chiefs who accepted money to support LNG development without consulting all members threaten to undermine landmark court victory.

"We have a message for the Pacific Northwest LNG project's investors in Asia — sell your stock," Yvonne Lattie, Gitxsan Hereditary Chief of Wilp Gwininitw, said at a press conference in Vancouver.
